JUST ON TIME.

During my stay in the United States, I visited many interesting places. Still, I can not believe that I spent my New Years Eve in the most exciting city I know - New York. It was a wonderful trip and I had a lot of fun with my host sister Kate and aunt Beth.
Everything went well, but on our way home something unusual happened. I almost
missed the flight!
It was a very cold morning and I, Kate and Beth got off the plane at the airport in Chicago. Our next plane was supposed to take off in twenty minutes so beth suggested going for a cup of coffee and donuts. We were extremely tired after walking through the busy streets of New York so we agreed with our aunt and walked
towards the long queue of hungry travellers waiting for coffee and breakfast. After some time I decided to go to the toilet. I told Kate and Beth that I would be back in a couple of minutes. As I wanted to get back, I found out that I could not open the door. I got stuck at the toilet. I did not know what to do because it had never happened to me before. To my relief, I heard some steps and I knew that I was not alone! ,,Please,
can you help me to open the door? I got stuck!” I shouted desperately. Nobody helped me. Obviously, none took me seriously. Then I realized that Beth and Kate would not find me very quickly, because there were loads of toilets at the airport. I felt as if I had been there for ages. I made few attempts to open the door, but it did not move at all. Completely unhappy, I gave up.
Suddenly, the silence at the empty toilet was interrupted by a familiar voice: ,,Petra, are you there?” asked Beth. I could not believe. I was saved. My aunt helped me to open the door. I had no time to explain her, what had really happened because we had to run to catch our flight. Fortunately, we came right on time!
